نظام المعلومات الإشعاعية (RIS) هو النظام الأساسي للإدارة الإلكترونية لأقسام التصوير.

يقوم نظام المعلومات بالأشعة (RIS) بتوفير المميزات التالية:

·     تسجيل المريض
·     جدولة أوقات إجراء الأشعة له
·     إدارة قوائم المرضى
·     توجيه قوائم العمل (DICOM Worklist).
·     إدارة سير العمل بقسم الأشعة
·     طلب الوثائق والمسح الضوئي لها     
·     إعداد التقارير والمطبوعات
·     تسليم النتائج لكل تقارير الاشعة
